| Hand Painted Glass Library Light Fixture CF-223 Beautiful hand painted glass shade in a library hanging lamp. The colors on this shade are very bright and lovely, it is in perfect condition. This lamp is from the 1870"s. It was originally kerosene but has been wired. The chimney is frosted so you won't see the light bulb. The original elevator is still in the canopy. At one time someone drilled a hole in the cap of the kerosene filler in the font. The font is intact and is clear pressed glass. The lamp measures 46" long and 16' wide. The shade is 14" in diameter. It is in very fine condition and measures 16" in diameter and the body is approx. 20" long. We will rewire it with 3 ft of chain and 6 ft. of wire. It has the original heavy cast canopy that matches the design on the area under the 4 sockets. The glass shade is in perfect condition and has a very Art Deco floral pattern.
